Tyler - Counselor
I live in Van Wert, Ohio, and I attend First Baptist Church. I recently graduated from Appalachian Bible College with a major in both Bible/Theology and Youth and Family Ministry. I was saved at the age of sixteen while on spring break of my junior year. I was working at a local grocery store when some students from my high school came in and invited me to a Bible study they were having. After much internal debate, I finally decided to go, and heard the Gospel. It was a few days later that I became fully aware of my sin, and understood that I needed a Savior. I trusted Christ as my Savior that day, and started attending First Baptist Church shortly after. Since then, I have been discipled and baptized by my youth pastor, served as a summer youth intern, and have graduated from Bible College with my B.A. degree.
I served as an Alpine counselor during the summer of 2016, and I fell in love with camp ministry. I am excited to return and see God work in tremendous ways. I am looking forward to revisiting many relationships that I made with campers from the previous summer as well as expecting God to work in their lives throughout their week at camp.
