Alpine Bible Camp

Dive into God's Word in a fun-filled week with Alpine Bible Camp! From Day Camp (ages 5-12) to Junior (ages 8-12) to Teen Camp (ages 12-18), enjoy camp-wide games, cabin team building activities, and personal challenges such as the adventure swing or zip lines. Junior and Teen campers have the option to add incredible adventures to their week, from whitewater rafting in the New River Gorge to rappelling or a scuba lesson. Afternoon free time provides campers opportunity to water slide or blob into our 1 acre pond, enjoy the swimming pool, play or lounge in the game room, try some rock climbing, and more!

Your camper's safety and growth are the primary goals of our dedicated team of counselors and leadership. All staff are trained in first aid and CPR, as well as in counseling and leading Bible devotions. We want every camper to experience growth spiritually, emotionally, physically, and mentally.

Looking for something a little different? Alpine also offers adventure camps.

  • Junior Adventure Camp packs your camper's week full of excitement and discovery! Campers will spend each day on an adventure (all adventures included in camp price) such as rafting the Upper New River, playing laser tag with friends, and exploring creation with a full-day hike. Evenings will be spent on camp activities and devotions before spending the night at Alpine Tent Camp. Only four days long, this week is a perfect intro for first-time campers and a great new schedule for regular attenders!
  • TREK Camp is a week of intense outdoor adventure for a small group of older teens (14-18). Approximately 10 campers each summer will join a team of professional, Christian adventure guides for adventures such as backpacking, rappelling, and caving. The small group atmosphere provides an incredible opportunity to grow spiritually and learn outdoor skills.

June 12, 2020

Dear Friends of Alpine Ministries,

While we are not holding our day camps and resident Bible camps, we are continuing with our Adventures and Retreats programs on a limited basis. Due to the uncertainty of the summer, we made the decision to not hire any seasonal staff. However, with our full-time adventure staff and occasional help from a few guides who are nearby, we are able to facilitate groups up to 50 people.

We are following the operational and sanitization guidelines set by the state of West Virginia and the CDC. We are continuing to monitor these guidelines and to implement changes accordingly.

Since we are operating on a smaller scale, the calendar is quickly filling. Call now to check availability and schedule your adventure trip or retreat. We are also planning to run a full Gauley Season this September-October. Book your trip on the "The Beast of the East": 304-877-6427.

In His Service,
Dave Holloway
Vice President for Extension Ministries
