As a group leader, how can I be involved in the camp week?

We welcome group leaders (we call them “sponsors”) to come to camp for a reduced price (limited spaces available). Click through the questions below for more information, and call us at 304-877-6427 if we can answer any other questions!

Yes! We love to have sponsors involved in at Alpine with their campers. Please see your week of choice to see the sponsor price for the week. This price applies to all adult sponsors staying for the week. Children of adult sponsors who are accompanying their parents and not participating in camp come at no charge. We would love to have you join us for services, meals, and activities. You will be provided with a week schedule upon arrival, and you're welcome to participate in the program as you like; feel free to join in for some activities, then get off campus or take a break at the ABC coffee shop. It's up to you!


Limited guest housing is available. Options vary from college dorm rooms to fully furnished apartments, and lodging is selected by our staff to best accommodate as many sponsors as possible. You will be notified a week prior to your arrival about your lodging details.

You'll need clothing, bedding and towels (depending on lodging details), toiletries, swimwear, and any cash you would plan to spend at the Alpine snack shop or coffee shop. If you will be joining your campers for adventures, please download our Recommended Clothing for Adventures page.

Alpine loves having sponsors here to engage with campers. However, for the safety of every child and guest on our facility, we have several rules we ask sponsors to abide by. Please refrain from taking campers off campus, entering camper cabins, or assuming duties assigned to a counselor. Under no circumstances should any adult be alone with a minor.

Coronavirus UpdateSummer cancellations & adjustments

Dear Friends of Alpine Ministries,

As you can understand, Alpine is facing a severe challenge from the pandemic. Because of this, a plan to have our normal summer ministry is not possible. Therefore, after much prayer and with heavy hearts, we have decided that we will not be able to hold our 2020 summer Alpine Bible Camp schedule. Our Adventure and Retreat opportunities still have limited availability. Please call to learn more about Adventures and Retreats this summer: 800-806-2180.

This change does not mean that the summer will be void of any ministry or activities. We are prepared to provide alternative summer camp experiences for local churches utilizing our permanent Alpine staff. As our governor updates us, and the guidelines for re-opening continue to develop, we will be available to minister within the environment that emerges. For now, only the Lord knows what the future holds. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook for developments, and sign up for email updates.

We have closed registration for the camp options that are currently offered and we will be processing refunds to those who have already submitted a payment.

Thank you for praying with us and for us as we trust the Lord in these uncertain times. Please be in prayer for our summer staff as they face this disappointing adjustment to their ministry plans. Also, pray for the many lives which will not be reached through Alpine because of this unavoidable cancellation.
