2 Corinthians 12:9 “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

This is my life verse because life is full of struggles and things that make us feel weak, but it is through these trials that Christ gives us His strength.

1 Timothy 4:8 "For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come."

I love to train in physical ways and mentally too, but I choose to remember that no matter how good I get at something it is of no value when compared to my relationship with Jesus Christ. I would rather have a strong faith in God which will give me a home in eternity by His grace, than have a strong body and die without hope of heaven.

I enjoy taking people out into beautiful creation and doing super fun activities. And the thing I enjoy the most about that is God is the center of everything we do and these activities give a great opportunity to talk about and highlight the character and desires of the amazing and loving God we serve.

Deuteronomy 32:4 “He is the Rock, his work is perfect: For all his ways are judgment: A God of truth and without iniquity, Just and right is he.”

This verse helps me to remember that no matter what God allows into my life, His decisions are always right and good and just.

I have had many adventures with Alpine as a guest and I've loved each and every one of them. Our God is not a tame God, and His creation can be just as wild! Getting out on the river or hiking out in the New River Gorge has always been some of my most favorite memories! I love the thrill of connecting with God through His handiwork and Alpine has always done well to provide that.

Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”

I love this verse because our work is not done until Jesus comes back. He will not stop helping us until the final day. It's not that the work will be easy, but the good work of Christ on the cross will continue and we can be confident in it.

Joshua 24:15 “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. “

Just a reminder that we have a choice daily how we live, whether it's for God or self.

Favorite Activity: The most challenging and favorite activity for me is guiding guests to discovering truth in God’s word. We can be and do many things in this life, but we are all commanded to be people of God.

Favorite Bible Passage: Hebrews 11. Every person listed in this chapter was not perfect. Their faith in God was not at monumental levels over night. They reached it through a lifetime of trials and walking with God. God then shows His unchanging faithfulness through working in their lives.

Personal Testimony: [I came to know Jesus] in a Sunday school class in the church I grew up in. I was 7 yrs old.

Favorite Activity: Molly [Heather’s raft!] and I enjoy being with people on the river. The river teaches so many biblical truths.

Joshua 1:9 “Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

Looking forward to: Meeting new folks and serving the Lord passionately through my passion of the outdoors.

Favorite activities: Caving and rafting because of the amazing spiritual truths they offer.

Proverbs 27:19 “As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.” In my life I hope one thing is certain, my heart is a reflection of Christ in my life and the true joy that brings me.
