At the age of 12, while attending a church camp, Ruth dedicated her life to serving the Lord. But it wasn’t until college that she developed an interest in — and eventual love for — camp ministry. Ruth began her service at Alpine during her college years, serving as a summer camp counselor. Since 1982 she has served in a variety of capacities, from dining room hostess to equipment truck driver — and nearly everything in between. She has served as the Director of Retreats since 2003. Ruth is a 1986 graduate of Appalachian Bible College. Her life verse is I Samuel 12:24.
Ruth serves as a missionary with Appalachian Bible Fellowship. Consider donating to her ministry as a way to invest in the advance of the gospel.
