Zachary Rinehart

Program Director, Servant Leadership Training (SLT) Director

In the fall of 2016, I graduated from Appalachian Bible College with a double major in Bible/Theology and Camping Ministry. After serving in the ABC admissions office for two years, I made the transition to working with Alpine. While working as the Program Director, I also serve as the Director of our Servant Leadership Training program.

My favorite verse has changed throughout the years, but currently it is Psalm 3:3 “But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory and the lifter up of mine head.”

My wife Phoebe and our son Bryce both enjoy spending time around camp. We have a Bloodhound named Skipper. He keeps us on our toes but is a lot of fun to have around. During the school year, I have the privilegeĀ of coaching the Appalachian Bible College women’s basketball team. My interests are many, ranging from playing trumpet and singing to hunting and fishing avidly. All of these activities I see as being ministry tools.

While leaving this earth, Jesus gave us the command to make disciples. I believe camp is a great place to carry out the orders of our commander and Savior. I hope you will consider allowing Alpine to be a part of your camp experience.
