Clearly Seen
Creation & Catastrophe in the New River Gorge
An educational adventure program from Appalachian Bible College & Alpine Ministries
June 11-14, 2025
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse…” Romans 1:20
Clearly Seen is an educational adventure program designed to equip Christians and ministry leaders with a Biblical young-earth geological model in the setting of the New River Gorge National Park and southern West Virginia. Participants will see evidence of a global flood while rappelling, caving, and whitewater rafting in God’s beautiful creation, guided by Biblical, historical, and scientific teaching. This year’s featured teacher is Tom Rice, Registered Professional Geologist and private consultant for engineering geology projects.
Program size is limited.
“I am a Bible teacher and church leader, and Clearly Seen has greatly affected my perspective on the earth's rock layers. The accounts of God's mighty acts are recorded in the Scriptures and evidenced around us. The Clearly Seen geology instructors taught and identified in class and the field, through enjoyable caving and rafting trips, what to see and to have Biblical 'eyes to see.'“ - 2024 Participant
