Date: November 8-9, 2024 (Friday 5:30pm – Saturday 5:30pm)
Cost: $160 per couple*
Alpine Lodge: Your motel-style room in the Alpine Lodge has a private bath with bedding and towels provided.
Meals: A salad bar complements the variety of hot entrées, sides, and desserts in the spacious Hanmer Dining Hall. Four meals included.

Check-In: At Alpine Lodge Friday, 4:00-5:45pm
* $150 covers sessions, lodging, meals, and activities. $60 of this is a non-refundable deposit. To attend sessions and meals without lodging, the cost is $130/couple. Sessions only (no meals or lodging) is $60/couple.
2024 Event Speaker:
John Rinehart
Dr. John Rinehart brings both Biblical perspective and personal experience to Couple’s Escape as he shares on Christian marriage. John serves as a professor at Appalachian Bible College and as the Dean of Graduate Studies. In his ministry at the College, as the pastor of a local church, and in additional ministries such as the Couple’s Escape, John seeks to clearly preach the Bible in a way that can be applied in daily life.
John also speaks on marriage from experience—he and his wife, Staci, share 10 children and many years of ministry together as a couple. Since 2020 he has served as pastor of Lester Baptist Church. His hobbies include reading and training for half marathons.
